The one legal online site
Saskatchewan has one legal online gambling site: PlayNow.com. It is operated by SIGA, the authority that also runs Living Sky Casino. Living Sky Casino, on the North Service Road, is the land-based side; PlayNow.com is the online side of the same operator. The site launched in the province in November 2022. Players must be 19 or older, and 19 is also the legal gambling age in Saskatchewan.
Private online casinos sit outside that arrangement. Saskatchewan has no licence for them, so none can hold one there. The provincial government describes sites competing with PlayNow as illegal platforms. A private site opened on a phone in a parked car off Highway 1 falls under the same rule.
What self-exclusion covers online
Game Break is a voluntary, confidential self-exclusion from all casinos in Saskatchewan and from PlayNow.com. It lasts 6 months to 5 years and cannot be shortened or removed once in effect. Enrolment goes through Customer Service or Security at a casino, or by appointment with GameSense staff at 306-787-2122. SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion, requested at any SIGA casino, bans the person from all nine casinos in Saskatchewan for 6 months to 5 years. Nobody can enrol someone else.
Neither program blocks private online sites. For help, the Saskatchewan Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-306-6789 answers 24 hours a day, at no cost, with trained counsellors.
How this guide is paid
Paid links appear on the home page only. There are three, each marked Ad. One sits in the menu, one in a block under the first screen, one near the end of the page. All three lead to the same private online casino partner, and the guide earns a commission from it.
That partner does not hold a Saskatchewan licence. No casino in the province is connected with it. The Service Road desk does not name it, and the partner can change. The other pages of this guide, including this one, carry no paid links.
